Born in 1969 in Beijing, Zeng Hong Mei graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University, Department of Environmental Fine Art. She is a member of the Beijing Artists Association, China Sculpture Society, the Chinese Folk Literature and Art Association and the Chinese Arts and Crafts Sculpture Society Professional Committee. From 1990 to 1999, she worked for the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Department of Art History; and began creating art in a painting and sculpture studio, specializing in sculpture research in 2003. Since 2003, she has joined dozens of officially-organized art exhibitions and her sculpture works were published in various art media and art magazines. She has cooperatively published several albums and her sculptures have been collected by art organizations, private collectors and art museums.
