The type bars of the typewriters are in disarray, random bars clustering together or jammed in odd angles, causing the typewriter to malfunction and cease working. Though the colours of the type bars are vibrant and diverse, it could not save the visual chaos created in the painting. Vani reveals the issue of the modern society in this work; in our eagerness to have our opinions known at once, and in our stubbornness to retain individuality, it does not lead to a quicker resolution or completion, but adversely creates inactivity and passiveness instead.
