Amongst many of Eva’s inspirations in everyday life is the wonder and strength of individuals. In this artwork, a girl appears to be having a serene moment by the sea, closing her eyes in peaceful thought while an island rests curiously on the top of her head. This is a direct metaphor to the escape that our mind can provide in times of distress; our minds can be the idyllic islands that we retreat into to rest and refresh our spirits, or serve as the ground for us to explore endlessly.
