A play and parody on the depiction of scenes from mythology, Dedy cleverly replaces the traditional sombre colors most often used in mythological images with abstract figures and bright, lurid colours. By doing this, he not only transforms classical images into contemporary ones, but places agitation on the viewing of such mythology, portraying it in lighter tones with loud and even gauzy colors. In this painting, the artist plays on the yellow tone and brings it to highlight by include the word 'Jingaa', meaning orange. By doing this, he brings further attention to the inversion of traditional color into bright and decidedly modern hues.
